How is the Tax Plan priced?
Your tax plan is a one-time flat fee, quoted upfront. The fee depends on the complexity of your situation and the scope of the planning involved: things like the number of entities, income sources, and strategies we evaluate. You’ll know the exact fee before any work begins, and it doesn’t change based on results. Most clients find the plan pays for itself well beyond the fee, and we’ll walk you through what’s possible for your situation before you commit. Once your plan is ready, we can quote a monthly package to implement and maintain it, with no long-term contract.
Can I start with a package and add a plan later?
Yes. Many clients start with Growth and add a Tax Plan once their books are clean.
Why does Elite require a Tax Plan?
Elite is built around ongoing strategy, and the tax plan is the foundation. It gives us a complete picture of your situation and a roadmap to work from. From there, Elite keeps that strategy current: we refresh your plan every year, so you never pay for a new one. Throughout the year, we’re actively looking for ways to make you more tax-efficient. When tax law changes, we evaluate how it affects you and reach out with any changes or new opportunities. Many tax-saving opportunities are time-sensitive, so staying ahead of them matters.
What decides my exact monthly price?
Each package has a starting price, and your exact fee depends on the size and complexity of your business. The main factors are:
Number of entities (businesses, partnerships, rental LLCs)
Transaction volume: how many bank accounts, credit cards, and monthly transactions we reconcile
Payroll: whether you have employees and how many
Tax returns included: business, personal, and any additional state filings
Condition of your books: whether they’re current or need cleanup first
We’ll review your situation and give you a fixed monthly quote before you start, with no long-term contract. If your business grows or changes, we’ll talk with you before adjusting anything.
What if I only need a personal tax return?
We can help. Individual returns are prepared for a flat fee, quoted upfront based on the complexity of your return: for example, rental properties, investments, self-employment income, or multiple states. You’ll know the exact fee before we begin. If you own a business or real estate, or expect to soon, ask us about tax planning. That’s where we can make the biggest difference in what you pay.
Why is a tax plan important?
You work hard for every dollar your business earns, and it’s frustrating to watch more of it go to taxes than necessary. Without a plan, most business owners only find out what they owe after the year is over, when it’s too late to change it.
A tax plan changes that. It looks at your full picture (your business, your income, your family, and your goals) and identifies legal strategies to reduce what you owe before the year ends. Once it’s put in place and followed through, the result is simple: more of your money stays with you.
And that money has a purpose. It can become the down payment on your family’s home, your child’s college paid off, an investment in your future, or the next step in growing your business. It can mean less stress at tax time and more confidence in every decision you make.
A tax plan isn’t just about paying less. It’s about keeping more of what you’ve built, so you can use it for what matters most to you.
